In fact, within only 5 days, Baekhyun became the best-selling solo singer in Hanteo’s history. The mini-album also became the fastest to reach 1 million sales on the chart data platform since 2004.

“Hello, World” is Baekhyun’s third solo album to sell 1 million copies, making him a “triple million seller.”

Then, first week since its official release (September 6-12), “Hello, World” recorded a staggering 1,096,995 copies sold, according to Hanteo.

Meanwhile, EXO Baekhyun sat down for an interview with ELLE Korea where he talked about his latest music release.

When asked about his promotional activities for “Hello, World,” the soloist talked about how he wants to be seen by fans, fellow artists, and staff members.

“I want to become an approachable person,” he began. “I want to come across as friendly. To be like, ‘I’m just Baekhyun.'”
