On October 25, Chillin International, the concert organizer for F.T. Island’s Taiwan show, posted an official announcement stating, “After much discussion, member Choi Min-hwan will perform from backstage due to personal reasons and will not appear on stage.”
They apologized for any inconvenience and expressed gratitude for fans’ understanding and support.
F.T. Island was scheduled to meet fans on October 26 in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, as part of their “2024 F.T. Island LIVE ‘Pulse’ in Asia” tour. However, due to the backlash surrounding the allegations against Choi Min-hwan, he will now perform backstage instead.
Meanwhile, on October 24, Choi Min-hwan’s ex-wife Yulhee shared a YouTube video addressing misunderstandings and released recordings alleging Choi Min-hwan’s visits to certain establishments. This revelation has led to Choi Min-hwan’s exit from KBS 2TV’s “The Return of Superman”, and authorities have launched a preliminary investigation into the matter.
