On August 20th, reviews on Musinsa written by a user with the ID ‘Kim Dae-young’ went viral on various SNS sites and online communities. In particular, Musinsa user named Kim Dae-young has left 14 reviews and received more than 10,000 likes.
Giving five stars for the items he bought, Kim Dae-young left reviews such as “It’s comfortable to wear and the design is so pretty”, “It’s very convenient to wear while doing activities”, “I was very surprised that it fit me so well”, “I think I would only wear this one”, “I recommend these pants for daily clothes”, etc.
In fact, Musinsa gives 2,000 won in cashpoints that can be used in the next purchase for those who write a style review. However, the criteria to receive 2,000 won is very strict. The user must attach full-body photos while wearing the items they purchased.
Seeing the review photos, fans immediately noticed that ‘Kim Dae-young’ is actually NCT Wish member Jaehee. Jaehee not only used his real name for the Musinsa ID but also wore the items he bought on Musinsa to the group’s fansigning event. In addition, the height and body shape of the person in the review photos are also similar to that of Jaehee.
Later, a fan shared her video call conversation with Jaehee, and in the video, the male idol jokingly said, “I’m not going to use it anymore”. Jaehee added, “Evil people at Musinsa don’t allow you to delete your reviews after receiving cashpoints. Dae-young also has his human rights”. This proved that the reviews were really written by him.
In response, other fans commented, “Jaehee debuted in February, and his most recent review was in June. He’s so thrifty. That’s cute”, “He’s so good at managing his living”, “I like him more after reading his reviews”, “I found it cute when he said he gained 3kg after 2 months”, etc.
