On August 16th, CEO Sung Hyun-soo of Snow Company said in an official press release, “We will provide full support so that Kim So-hye can grow even more by showcasing her outstanding talents”.
Kim So-hye debuted as a member of I.O.I, a group formed through Mnet’s survival show “Produce 101 Season 1” in 2016, and gained huge love from K-pop fans. After the group disbanded, she turned to acting. She starred in various dramas such as “Poetry Story”, KBS Drama Special “Kang Deok-soon’s Love History”, “Best Chicken”, etc., and gradually gained recognition from netizens.
She made her successful debut on the big screen with “Moonlit Winter”. Although it was her first movie challenge, Kim So-hye received praise for perfectly portraying the role of Sae-bom, a high school student who creates her own journey with her fresh and bright energy. With this success, she continued to appear in “How to Buy a Friend”, “Strang School Tales: The Child Who Would Not Come”, and “My Lovely Boxer”.
