A former trainee under SM Entertainment has recounted his days in the entertainment company, which also mentioned an anecdote regarding the real personality of former RIIZE member Seunghan.
The trainee in question is Anderson, who’s known for his appearance in the survival show NCT Lastart. Since Anderson has now left SM Entertainment, the former contestant decided to continue his activities and show more of his talent on his official SNS.
Particularly on TikTok, a fan casually asked in one of Anderson’s dance videos, “Did you see what they did to Seunghan and Lucas? Horrible.”
“Breaks my heart,” Anderson replied.
After the fan expressed sadness over the two idols’ departure from their respective groups, Anderson recalled how nice Seunghan was to him back then.
“Seunghan was so nice to me when I was new as well,” Anderson commented.

Seunghan made lots of headlines in 2024 for his departure from RIIZE. In 2023, the controversy started when a few of his pre-debut photos showed him being intimate with a former girlfriend and a video showing him allegedly smoking a cigarette.
This was followed by the idol’s indefinite hiatus, until October 2024, when SM Entertainment announced Seunghan’s return to RIIZE.
Later on, Seunghan addressed his controversy and shared his resolve to do better, as well as work hard in the group.
Unfortunately, the hate train was still too severe. “OT6 fans,” also known as fans who prefer the group as a six-membered act, loathed his return through community forums and sent funeral wreaths in front of SM to demand Seunghan’s departure.
Shortly after the backlash, Seunghan permanently left RIIZE, inciting outrage on social media.
On November 15, 2024, SM revealed that Seunghan will debut as a soloist.
