On the November 23rd broadcast of JTBC’s variety show “Knowing Bros“, Min Kyung-hoon’s wedding ceremony was revealed.
A month prior to Min Kyung-hoon’s wedding, Seo Jang-hoon told the members “We’ve been together for 10 years, so shouldn’t we do something properly for him? If we leave it to Kyung-hoon to prepare, he might do something weird, so I’ve invited a world-class director”, introducing Shindong.
Shindong, taking on the role of general director for the wedding, suggested selecting an emcee. At this, Kim Heechul joked “Ho-dong isn’t going to emcee, and even if Jang-hoon and Sang-min wanted to, they couldn’t. If Young-chul emcees, Kyung-hoon’s wedding will get postponed”, drawing laughter with his direct jabs at divorced members Seo Jang-hoon and Lee Sang-min. Shindong explained that the emcee should know the groom well and created a quiz about Min Kyung-hoon. Seo Jang-hoon, scoring the highest, was initially chosen to emcee.
Seo Jang-hoon, however, hesitated, “I’ve never emceed a wedding before. Weddings should ideally be emceed by people who are happily married and living well.” Shindong then decided that the final choice would factor in 10% from the quiz score and 90% from the bride and groom’s preference. Ultimately, Kim Heechul was announced as the emcee. Seo Jang-hoon sighed in relief, saying, “Thank goodness.” The members also took on the responsibility of preparing a celebratory song and diligently practiced Buzz’s “You Don’t Know Man”.
Finally, the day of Min Kyung-hoon’s wedding arrived. Kang Ho-dong, meeting the members among the guests, shared, “Yesterday, I sent Kyung-hoon a heartfelt, lengthy message.” However, the response he received was “Is this really Ho-dong? Or were you hacked?”, causing laughter. Shortly after, Min Kyung-hoon thanked Kang Ho-dong, creating a heartwarming moment.
The ceremony began with Kim Heechul as the emcee, and the members greeted Min Kyung-hoon warmly as he walked in confidently. During his vows, Min Kyung-hoon expressed his affection for his wife, “Are we walking this path well together? Let’s keep the promise we made to hold hands and take walks even as grandparents.” His tears flowed as he listened to his wife’s vows. His wife reflected on their early encounter, “Eighteen years ago, after a concert, we brushed past each other during a high-five event. It’s still hard to believe that the person I met back then is the same kind and gentle man standing in front of me now. I was drawn to your heart, which notices small and fragile things and cherishes life’s simple moments. But I also thought you might not have had the chance to fully enjoy such moments yourself.”
She continued “I decided to fill our days together with ordinary happiness. I wasn’t interested in celebrities, but Buzz was the one group I liked. I didn’t watch much TV but somehow ended up as a variety show PD. Every road I took led me to you”, delivering her heartfelt words.
Later, “Knowing Bros” members stepped up to perform their celebratory song. Lee Soo-geun humorously introduced it “My wife prepared ‘You Don’t Know Man’ for someone other than me”, adding a playful touch to the atmosphere. The members performed with perfect harmony, bringing smiles to the couple. As the song was ending, Lee Soo-geun handed the microphone to Min Kyung-hoon, asking him to sing the chorus. Min Kyung-hoon sang a love serenade while looking at his wife.
