When Jo Se-ho asked if he joined SM after his “Little Roo’Ra” activities, G-Dragon explained, “Little Roo’Ra used to perform on MBC’s show  “Bbo Bbo Bbo”. Back then, the world of child actors was quite competitive. Standing next to Bbomi noona was like being the second-in-command when the sunbaes (seniors) did “Infinite Challenge.” The sense of hierarchy depended on who stood next to you, and since I was well-received, I was selected to be in “Little Roo’Ra”, and then I ended up joining SM by chance.”

He continued, saying that he joined SM when his family went on a trip to a ski resort, and his mother encouraged him to participate in a dance competition, where he caught the eye of SM founder Lee Soo-man. “My mom always pushed me to go out and perform in the center,” he said, describing how his mother’s encouragement led to his unexpected introduction to the entertainment industry.

The K-pop idol went on to reveal that he spent a remarkable five years as an SM trainee, but he felt that he didn’t quite fit in with the company’s style. “When I look at the sunbaes at SM, I’m definitely not one of them. The vibe doesn’t match,” he said, explaining why he was not called upon as often as the other trainees.

Fans will also hear about his collaboration with Taeyang on their hit “Good Boy,” along with a preview of his new solo track, his first in 7 years. G-Dragon reveals that his songwriting process is almost instinctual, with break-up songs coming naturally to him.

As a fashion icon, G-Dragon reflects on his influence in the fashion world and amusing anecdotes, like the time Jo Se-ho famously called out to him at a Paris fashion show. Fans can also look forward to surprise guest appearances and stories from his daily life, including plans for Big Bang’s 20th anniversary in 2026.

In addition, G-Dragon’s appearance on “You Quiz on the Block“ also touched on his songwriting process, fashion influence, and exciting plans for Big Bang’s 20th anniversary in 2026, providing fans with a rare, intimate glimpse into the life of the K-pop superstar.
