On the November 27 episode of tvN’s “You Quiz on the Block”, Go Hyun-jung appeared on the talk show for the first time in 15 years, sharing her stories.
Go Hyun-jung looked back at when she was 24, saying, “I actually wanted to go abroad to study photography. I had saved up money for that. Back then, I thought this (entertainment industry) wasn’t right for me. But life never goes the way you plan.”
She continued, “Then I suddenly fell into a relationship. I didn’t know love could be so fun. I fell completely for it. We didn’t have the term ‘endorphin’ back then, but I felt like I could work all night just because of the excitement of love.”
Go Hyun-jung reflected, “Love came suddenly and colored my 20s. Love is deep, and it doesn’t come around often.”
Go Hyun-jung, who married Shinsegae Chairman Chung Yong-jin in 1995 and had a son and a daughter, divorced in 2003. After the divorce, her children were raised by Chung Yong-jin.
