Goo Hye-sun Reveals She Left a Drama in the Past Due to Acute Shock

On the October 10th broadcast of KBS 2TV’s “Let’s Live Together with Park Won-sook”, Goo Hye-sun joins the cast as the youngest member. Known for her quirky and unique charm, Goo Hye-sun brings homegrown bean sprouts wrapped in a golden cloth, catching the attention of Park Won-sook and Hyeeunyee. Goo Hye-sun rose to stardom through her roles in “Nonstop 5” and “Boys Over Flowers”. She is also well known for her versatility as a film director, writer, composer and painter. Recently, she made headlines for enrolling in KAIST graduate school at the age of 39.

During the show, Goo Hye-sun opens up about the difficult circumstances that pushed her to test her limits. She recalls a time when she prided herself on her “iron stamina”, often working without eating or sleeping during filming. However, she also reflects on the toll it took on her health, sharing that during the filming of “Boys Over Flowers”, she suffered a concussion but continued filming. Later, she was involved in a severe car accident that destroyed her vehicle and even led to a broadcasting delay.

In 2017, she experienced a terrifying moment when she lost consciousness in a bathroom and had to be rescued by a cleaning staff member who opened the door. Goo Hye-sun revealed that she suffered from anaphylaxis, a severe allergic reaction, and eventually had to leave the drama due to acute shock.
