Good Partner” Lawyer Choi Yuna on Characteristics of Cheaters “They Are Really Diligent, No Days Off

On the September 4th episode of tvN’s variety show “You Quiz on the Block” (hereafter “You Quiz”), lawyer-writer Choi Yuna from SBS’s drama “Good Partner” appeared and shared her insights.

During the broadcast, Choi Yuna revealed shocking stories that couldn’t be included in the drama. She said, “The drama focused on common cases that are frequently repeated. This was to help prevent divorces in real life. However, there are far more shocking incidents that couldn’t be portrayed in the drama.

Choi Yuna mentioned that the most common day for catching infidelity in the act is Christmas. “Christmas is usually known as a day for couples, and it often overlaps. People divide their time—spending Christmas Eve with their affair partner and Christmas Day with their family. Affair partners often want to confirm their relationship by being together on special occasions or holidays. That’s why Christmas is when people get caught the most.”

She shared that, on Christmas Day, when clients are happily preparing for the holiday, they often call her saying they’ve caught their partner in the act and are recording it on video. When asked whether the adulterers are bold, Choi Yuna responded, “They are very calculated and thorough. They often carry 2~3 phones, own multiple cars, and carry an ‘affair kit’.

She also revealed that some people manage to date up to six people at once. “Since they have to deceive both their spouse and their affair partners, it becomes incredibly complicated. The lies snowball, causing fights even among themselves. They are incredibly diligent—leaving early in the morning, returning late at night, just sleeping and leaving again. They even change clothes outside, have no days off, and juggle spending holidays like Christmas with multiple people.
