On April 10, actress Han Ga-in appeared on her YouTube channel “Free Woman Han Ga-in” where she visited her alma mater.
She returned to Kyung Hee University and remarked, “Since the Hotel and Tourism College is near the entrance, I rarely went deep into campus.” When the staff asked if she had been to the Grand Peace Palace, Han Ga-in hesitated and said, “I have, but this might be a TMI. HUFS (Hankuk University of Foreign Studies) is next to the Grand Peace Palace. My boyfriend at the time went to HUFS, so I went over there a few times.”

When the crew said, “People thought Yeon Jung-hoon was your first love,” she clarified, “I’ve consistently said he wasn’t, and my husband knows that too.” She added, “Rather than just dating, my ex-boyfriend mostly acted as my bodyguard. He protected me from male classmates a lot, and thinking back now, I really appreciate that.”
Recalling her popularity during her college days, Han Ga-in said, “There was a time when I was known as one of the two most popular girls at Kyung Hee—me and another student named Lee Hyun-joo.”

She continued, “I attended school normally during my freshman year but took a leave of absence after debuting as an Asiana model in my second year. When I returned, I was already a celebrity, and things were hectic. Male students would follow me to all my lectures. Everyone shared my class schedule, and the hallways and classrooms would be packed.”
