On the 6th, Han Ga-in’s YouTube channel, Han Ga-in is Free, posted a video titled “Actress Han Ga-in Reveals Her Favorite Bathroom Products (Exfoliation, Husband’s Reaction).” In the video, Han Ga-in gave a first-ever tour of her bathroom and other parts of her home.
While showing her home, Han Ga-in introduced her daughter’s room, saying, “This is the master bedroom, but I thought it’d be better to give it to my daughter since it has an attached bathroom.”
The production team was surprised by the thick English books on her daughter’s shelves and asked if she really reads such advanced material. Han Ga-in responded, “She’s been reading extensively for a while, so she’s a speed reader. She’s bilingual. Even before attending an English kindergarten, she was already good at English. And she’s not a kid who studied abroad; she grew up here in Sindang-dong.”
Han Ga-in also shared her daughter’s unique method for learning English. She explained, “If I were to share a tip, it’s that I played English storybooks like background music to her from a young age. I’d let it play for several hours a day, and I think that’s what helped.”
When asked by the crew if she has any specific career aspirations for her daughter, like becoming a doctor, Han Ga-in replied, “I really don’t want her to be a doctor. She likes science, so if she wants to go into research, that’s fine. But I want her to do whatever she enjoys.” She added, “Being a doctor requires a lot of studying. I don’t want to force her to study excessively.”
Previously, Han Ga-in made headlines by sharing her daily life as a hands-on mom on her YouTube channel, even studying English herself while waiting outside her daughter’s academy.
Han Ga-in, who married fellow actor Yeon Jung-hoon in 2005, has a son and a daughter. Her firstborn daughter is reportedly a top 1% gifted child, and her second child has also been recognized as gifted, garnering significant public interest.
