On December 20, Xportnews reported that two top stars of the Hallyu wave, G-Dragon (BIGBANG) and actress Han So-hee, are currently rumored to be dating. Later on the same day, both G-Dragon’s and Han So-hee’s representatives swiftly denied the rumors.
A representative from G-Dragon’s agency, Galaxy Corporation, stated, “The dating rumors are entirely untrue.” Similarly, Han So-hee’s agency, 9ato Entertainment, refuted the claims, “The rumors about a relationship with G-Dragon are not true. They are not even close with each other,” dispelling the speculation.
The rumors began when multiple photos of G-Dragon and Han So-hee allegedly taken at the same locations surfaced online. Netizens speculated that the two were dating based on these photos.
This is not the first time Han So-hee has been at the center of dating rumors. In March, she was rumored to be dating actor Ryu Jun-yeol. On March 15, a witness claimed that the two had been spotted together, leading to speculation. Initially, both denied the claims. However, singer-actress Hyeri, Ryu Jun-yeol’s ex-girlfriend of 7 years, posted a cryptic message saying, “Interesting,” fueling suspicions of a “rebound relationship.”
On March 16, a day after the rumors surfaced, Han So-hee acknowledged the relationship on her personal blog, “We are in a good relationship with positive feelings for each other.” However, she denied the notion of it being a rebound relationship, “I hope people refrain from using the term ‘rebound.’”
Overwhelmed by public scrutiny, Han So-hee and Ryu Jun-yeol ended their relationship just 14 days after going public. At the time, 9ato Entertainment commented, “They have broken up. They agreed not to let personal matters drain their emotions anymore.”
Han So-hee was also linked to model Chae Jong-seok, who had previously been rumored to be dating former After School member Nana. In July last year, photos of two people believed to be Han So-hee and Chae Jong-seok walking together spread on social media. Further speculation arose when netizens claimed the two were seen wearing matching items. With the rumors gaining traction, 9ato Entertainment clarified, “He is just one of her close friends. The rumors of them dating are completely untrue.“
Meanwhile, Han So-hee made her acting debut in 2017 with the drama “Reunited Worlds.” Since then, she has appeared in various works, including “100 Days My Prince,” “The World of the Married,” “Nevertheless,” “My Name,” and the “Gyeongseong Creature” series, showcasing her striking visuals and stable acting skills.
