Han Ye-seul Shares Same Tastes as Husband Ryu Sung-jae, Mentions Plans for Children

On Dec 12th, Han Ye-seul appeared with her husband Ryu Sung-jae in a video titled “Official Introduction, Balance Game with My Husband” on her YouTube channel.

In the video, Han Ye-seul remarked, “My husband, who has been appearing mysteriously in glimpses until now, is no longer just a mystery. Since we got married this year, I thought it wouldn’t be right to end 2024 without introducing him.”

Ryu Sung-jae introduced himself as “Han Ye-seul’s husband” rather than using his own name, showing a hint of nervousness. The couple then played a balance game, answering questions such as “Mala Xiang Guo vs. Mala Tang”, “Hard Peaches vs. Soft Peaches” and “Steamed Dumplings vs. Dumplings”. They gave the same answers without hesitation, prompting Han Ye-seul to comment, “Anyway, our tastes are very similar.”

When asked the question “Growing up with parents exactly like me vs. Have a child exactly like me”, Han Ye-seul responded, “Seeing how well we take care of our dog, I think we’d be good at parenting. If we had a child exactly like me, it would be so fun to raise them.”

When Ryu Sung-jae reacted with surprise, Han Ye-seul added “That doesn’t mean I want to have a baby right this moment. Should I book an OB-GYN appointment?“, continuing her candid conversation with humor.

In 2021, Han Ye-seul made headlines when she revealed her relationship with Ryu Sung-jae, 10 years her junior, via her SNS. After three years of public dating, the couple announced their marriage registration in May this year and embarked on their honeymoon.
