Actress Hwang Jung Min will star in her fourth K-drama in 2024.
On November 8, it was officially confirmed that actress Hwang Jung Min would join the cast lineup for the second season of The Fiery Priest.
She will join Kim Nam Gil, Lee Ha Nee, Kim Sung Kyun, Sung Joon, Seo Hyun Woo, BIBI, and others.
The Fiery Priest Season 2 will reveal the collaborative investigation journey of a hot-tempered Catholic priest, Kim Hae Il, Gudam Police Station detective Goo Dae Young, and the smart and beautiful Prosecutor, Park Kyung Sun. This time, their team is headed to Busan to fight the country’s top drug cartel.
Hwang Jung Min will portray the role of Kim Mari, a close colleague of Seo Hyun Woo’s character named Nam Du Heon who is currently the senior prosecutor of the drug investigation team.
Director Park Bo Ram and writer Park Jae Bum, the same duo that worked for the first season will work together again for the new season. Studio S, Big Ocean ENM, Red Nine Pictures, and Gil Story ENT will work together to produce the upcoming K-drama.
The Fiery Priest Season 2 will begin airing today at 10 PM KST. It will exclusively air on SBS. It will have a total of 12 episodes.
The Fiery Priest Season 2 will be the fourth K-drama of Hwang Jung Min for the year. She also appeared in the series Romance in the House. She also made a special appearance in the K-dramas Good Partner and Dog Knows Everything.
Hwang Jung Min started her acting career in 1997. She is known for being part of the K-dramas Moving, My Dearest, D.P. Season 2, The Forbidden Marriage, Unicorn, Cleaning Up, Kairos, and more.
