On December 6, a video titled “Anything is Fine as Long as It’s Hip…” was uploaded to Hyeri’s YouTube channel.
In the video, Hyeri met with hairdresser and YouTuber Kiwoo to get a layered haircut. When asked, “What do you think suits you the best?” Hyeri candidly shared, “I think variety shows suit me best. It’s not always just fun, I’m quite harsh on myself. Even though no one burdens me, I feel burdensome. I tend to feel burdened a lot.”
Hyeri also reflected on her interactions with people during filming. “When filming something, it feels like I’m just chatting and playing with other people. But when I’m not filming, I can play with real friends, and that’s real fun,” she said. Surprised by her comment, Kiwoo asked, “Then why did you cry during the last episode of ‘Amazing Saturday’?”
Hyeri responded, “I usually cry when saying goodbye. But once I fully expressed that emotion, I feel relieved and it feels like I’ve finished for real. I think it’s important to saying goodbye properly.”
She continued, “Because of this job, you go through continuous meetings and partings. Being together all day then parting, you experience it so frequently, you might become numb to it. But I do cry a lot when parting.”
Kiwoo expressed his surprise, “I only saw that part and thought you were very sentimental. But your answer was different from what I thought. It’s fascinating.” Hyeri agreed, adding, “I am sentimental.”
