On December 28, an Instagram account with the username “yong_seobang” was publicized. The profile picture of this account features what appears to be a back view of HyunA and Yong Jun-hyung standing side by side.
The account’s first post reads, “Today, I had to run some errands with my wife, so we went out. We spotted a ramen shop nearby and had ramen, while my wife teasingly ordered beer to make me envious. On the way back, we noticed one of our tires was low on air, so we stopped by a tire shop. There was a huge nail stuck in it. If we hadn’t driven on it, someone else might have. Let’s think of it as saving someone else’s tire and smile.”
At the same time, several photos were attached, showing scenes from the married couple’s newlywed life.
One of the photos features the couple dining at a Japanese restaurant. HyunA, wearing a white furry hat, a brown leather jacket, and making a lovely expression, appears alongside the photographer, assumed to be Yong Jun-hyung. This leads to speculations that the owner of the account is none other than the male idol.
On November 30, Yong Jun-hyung posted another update, saying, “Today, I went shopping with my wife. We each bought a pair of winter shoes. On the way home, we picked up some dumpling soup to enjoy at home.” The attached photos include various branded shopping bags and a pair of boots.
HyunA and Yong Jun-hyung publicly confirmed their relationship in January this year. At the time, HyunA shared a photo of the two on her own account, tagging Yong Jun-hyung, and acknowledged their relationship. Yong Jun-hyung later similarly confirmed the news.
Just six months after their public announcement, the couple revealed they were getting married. In particular, HyunA’s agency announced, “HyunA has decided to tie the knot with Yong Jun-hyung, as they have been each other’s great source of comfort during tough times, him. They will hold a wedding in October with close acquaintances and begin their new life together.”
Yong Jun-hyung’s agency echoed the news, sharing, “Yong Jun-hyung and HyunA, with deep affection and trust for one another, will hold a private wedding with close friends in October.”
At their wedding ceremony, Yong Jun-hyung entered in a white tuxedo, followed by HyunA in a mini dress and red heels. The couple held a simple vow ceremony without a formal officiant or special performance.
The couple face a lot of backlash throughout their relationship due to Yong Jun-hyung’s past, but it seems that their love prevails.
