The wedding of Jo Seho took place at Dynasty Hall, a large banquet hall in the Shilla Hotel, which can accommodate up to 900 guests. As of April, the rental fee (excluding floral costs) was set at 22 million won (including tax) ($16K USD). Seasonal discounts of 30-70% are applied, but since October falls within the peak season, significant reductions were not expected.
The cost for meals is determined to be between 160,000 to 300,000 won per person. If we estimate based on 300,000 won per guest for 900 attendees, the total would amount to 2.7 billion won *, which is quite surprising ($1.9M USD).
