On various online communities and social media platforms, there has been a relay of posts claiming that figures like singer IU have been reported to the CIA, with “proof” of such actions being shared.

The CIA operates a dedicated reporting website where individuals can submit reports by entering an email, phone number and details of an incident.

Those who have reported IU and others are encouraging additional reports on other celebrities, even distributing a “Yoon Suk-yeol Impeachment Support List”.

The list includes names such as IU, NewJeans, Kim Eana, Go Min-si, Yoon Jong-shin, Lee Seung-hwan, Yuri, Moonbyul and Park Hyo-shin. It also features artists from various fields, including Choi Min-sik, Lee Dong-wook, Heo Sung-tae, Hwang Dong-hyuk, Yoon Il-sang, Park Myung-soo and Bong Joon-ho.

Following the list’s creation, there have been further posts claiming successful CIA reporting certifications against these individuals.

Since the December 3 Martial Law Incident, there have been ongoing protests demanding the impeachment of President Yoon Suk-yeol. Several celebrities have directly supported citizens attending these gatherings. Figures such as IU, NewJeans, Yuri and director Park Chan-wook prepaid for coffee, bread and meals for citizens near Yeouido.

In addition, some celebrities publicly voiced support for President Yoon’s impeachment.

Regarding this, some netizens proposed boycotting advertisements involving these celebrities. However, these calls were met with significant backlash. Similarly, the wave of CIA reporting has faced harsh criticism rather than gaining widespread support.
