The star power of “When Life Gives You Tangerines“ shows no signs of slowing down, with its lead actors IU, Park Bo-gum, and Kim Seon-ho sweeping the top three spots in the latest drama cast popularity rankings.
On April 1, Good Data Corporation, a K-content analysis agency that tracks online competitiveness, released its rankings for the fourth week of March (March 24–30). IU claimed the No. 1 spot for the fourth consecutive week, thanks to her widely praised performance as Ae-soon in Netflix’s “When Life Gives You Tangerines”.

Park Bo-gum, who plays Gwan-sik, followed closely in second place, while Kim Seon-ho took third, solidifying the drama’s main trio as the most talked-about cast members in the current TV-OTT landscape.
Beyond the top three, Seo Kang-joon from MBC’s “Undercover High School” ranked fourth, and Park Eun-bin from Disney+’s “Hyper Knife” came in fifth, completing this week’s top five most buzzworthy drama actors.

The momentum wasn’t limited to the cast alone. “When Life Gives You Tangerines” also ranked first in overall TV-OTT drama buzz for the fourth consecutive week, showing its continued dominance in both viewer attention and media presence. “Hyper Knife” secured second place, while “Undercover High School” landed in third.

The Netflix original, released in batches over four weeks, consists of 16 episodes and tells the lyrical and emotional journey of Ae-soon, a rebellious free spirit born in Jeju Island, and Gwan-sik, a steadfast man with a heart of steel. Their story unfolds across four seasons, capturing love, loss, and resilience in a changing world.
With its compelling storytelling, sweeping visuals, and the undeniable chemistry of its cast, “When Life Gives You Tangerines” continues to captivate audiences both in South Korea and abroad.
