On September 4, a pre-released clip from tvN’s “You Quiz on the Block” featured divorce lawyer-drama writer Choi Yoo-na as a guest.
When asked if people who cheat are generally bold, Choi Yoo-na responded “They are bold and very calculated. Some carry around what I call an ‘affair kit’. They have 2~3 phones, and they even have to be careful about dashcams, so some people have multiple cars. The people who commit adultery might not just have one partner. I’ve seen cases where someone was involved with three, four or even six people at once“, leaving everyone shocked.
She also mentioned a couple where the husband introduced his mistress as his sister and lived together with the wife for 1~2 years. Choi Yoo-na shared, “While researching case law, I found a case where the husband introduced his mistress as his sister, and they lived together with the wife. The wife got along well with the supposed sister, only to later find out they were actually in a relationship.”
Actress Jang Nara, who starred in “Good Partner”, said, “While filming ‘Good Partner’, I kept thinking, ‘Why even get married? If it’s going to be like this, we shouldn’t get married at all.’ It wasn’t just me; other cast members were also like, ‘Are you crazy? Are you in your right mind?’ But fortunately, I’m living very happily (in real life). The script, written by a divorce lawyer, felt so real.”
