Jay Park Addresses ‘OnlyFans’ Controversy and Talks About His Tattoo-Free Look on ‘Radio Star’

On the MBC show Radio Star aired on the 11th, Jay Park brought up the topic of the kiss mark that had become a hot issue.

Jay Park mentioned that he’s been busy with business ventures but is focusing on his artist activities this year. He said, “I’ve been doing a lot of challenges. The biggest ones that made headlines were ‘TAXI BLUR’ and ‘McNasty’ with Natty.” Jay Park had previously gained attention for using ‘OnlyFans’ to promote his work.

Jay Park explained, “Including features, I’ve released 400 songs over 16 years. The longer you do it, the harder it is to promote, because people get used to you. I thought I needed to use a platform that matched the concept of the song.”

He continued, “It’s a subscription-based platform, but a lot of people misunderstood. I just used that image, and the response was good.” In response, Chae Jung-an asked, “Was the kiss mark the key point?” Jay Park replied, “My manager did it. I tried doing it with my hand, but it showed, so I had no choice.”

Jay Park also drew attention as a regular at Waterbomb festivals. He remarked, “It seems like it comes from American culture, but because of the sexy image, people throw a lot of underwear at me.” He added, “In America, they take it off spontaneously, but my fans seem to buy it on purpose.”

Jay Park humorously mentioned, “There are a lot of people with better bodies than mine,” drawing attention. Yoo Se-yoon also shared his experience performing at this year’s Waterbomb lineup, which grabbed attention. Additionally, Park Hae-jun shared his story of being invited to Waterbomb.

Park Hae-jun said, “I performed as ‘Tae Yang In,’ an impersonator of Taeyang, and got an official invitation to the event. Four of us went, but we were only allowed to use the stage for five minutes. The staff repeatedly told us not to go over the time limit,” which made everyone laugh.

Jay Park also discussed the buzz he created recently by appearing without tattoos as “Pure Jay Park.” He said, “The music video director wanted a tattoo-free look, so I covered them all for three hours,” drawing attention. He revealed that his first tattoo was in 2010. Jay Park explained, “It’s AOM behind my ear, which stands for my B-boying crew,” grabbing attention again.
