BLACKPINK’s Jennie has proven her global star power once again by claiming the No.1 spot on Hanteo’s April Monthly World Chart.
In particular, on May 1 at 10 AM KST, Hanteo Chart known as the world’s only real-time music chart—released its official rankings for April 2025. Based on global data including album sales, digital streams, SNS buzz, and media presence, Jennie secured first place with a World Index score of 12,539.66 points, largely due to her strong performance in the social and media categories.
She had previously topped the weekly World Chart during the 1st and 3rd weeks of April, reinforcing her consistent global popularity. Meanwhile, NCT WISH followed closely with a World Index of 11,244.59 points, whereas IVE placed third with 9,545.72 points.
In the April Monthly Album Chart, NCT WISH soared to the top with their mini album “poppop,” earning a total album index of 1,270,345.80 points and monthly sales of 1,118,085 copies. The group also topped the 3rd-week weekly chart with the same album.
Additionally, Mark’s solo full-length album “The Firstfruit” landed at No.2 with 783,932.20 points and 596,001 copies sold, while TWS secured No.3 with their 3rd mini album “TRY WITH US”, recording 578,645.10 points and 560,886 copies sold.
In the April Monthly Certification Chart, UNIS topped with their second mini album “SWICY“. The country with the highest number of verified physical album purchases for UNIS was Taiwan, highlighting their growing global fanbase. It is also reported that EPEX came in second with their 2nd full-length album “Youth Chapter 2 : YOUTH DEFICIENCY ”, while CIX ranked third with their mini album “THUNDER FEVER”.
Hanteo’s monthly data covered the period from April 1 to April 30, with its World Chart reflecting a comprehensive analysis of global K-pop activity across multiple platforms. The Album Chart is based on international physical sales, and the Certification Chart tracks verified purchases from overseas fans.
