BLACKPINK’s Jennie urged the fans who packed the Gocheok Dome to ensure safety during the final performance of the world tour ‘Born Pink’.
BLACKPINK held the finale concert of their world tour ‘Born Pink’ on the 17th at Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul’s Guro District. The finale performance in Seoul continued from the previous day and drew a crowd of 35,000 over the two days.
From the opening stage ‘Pink Venom’ to ‘How You Like That,’ ‘Pretty Savage,’ and ‘Kick It,’ BLACKPINK captivated the audience. The enthusiastic cheers and responses from the fans for BLACKPINK, the first female K-pop artist to perform at the largest indoor venue in Korea, Gocheok Dome, were exceptional.
Lisa expressed her overwhelmed emotions, saying, “It seems like the cheers are louder than yesterday. It’s much bigger, and I can feel the energy rising in me.” Jisoo shouted, “Let’s run to the end with this energy.”
Rosé explained the significance of the day, saying, “Today is a truly special day. It’s the final performance of ‘Born Pink.’” Jisoo continued, “We are decorating the end of the tour we’ve spent a year together on. Are you ready to scream and dance like crazy?” eliciting cheers from the fans.
At that moment, Jennie said, “I’m deeply disappointed to see BLINKs sitting down,” and as soon as the fans heard this, they stood up and responded enthusiastically. Smiling, Jennie emphasized, “I asked you to stand up, but please remember not to climb onto your chairs,” addressing safety concerns and maintaining order inside the venue.
Furthermore, Rosé also added in English, “Please don’t climb on the chairs and enjoy the performance while standing on the floor seats,” arousing a response from international fans.
Meanwhile, BLACKPINK celebrated their 7th debut anniversary in August, and there has been widespread global interest in their re-contracting with their agency, YG Entertainment.
