On the 12th, the YouTube channel Pixid uploaded a new episode of the web content “Rural Cooking Adventure” titled “I cooked and ate a giant tomahawk bigger than my face on a lid!”

In this episode, after grilling pork belly, Jeon Soyeon declared that she would make kimchi fried rice using the pork belly fat. Known for her dislike of vegetables, she had previously stated that she doesn’t eat kimchi. As a result, the kimchi fried rice didn’t include kimchi.

First, she thickly sliced green onions, extracted the oil, and then removed them. She then stir-fried the rice, using only the kimchi juice for flavor. While making the fried rice, Jeon Soyeon shared, “My mom intentionally makes a lot of kimchi juice for me.”

She continued, “My mom always felt sorry for me. When I was in kindergarten, I really didn’t want to eat vegetables, but the teacher kept insisting, so I poured the food into my bag,” sharing a childhood episode related to her aversion to vegetables.

Jeon Soyeon then added gochujang (Korean red chili paste), the remaining pork belly, sesame oil, oyster sauce, sugar, and an egg to make kimchi fried rice without kimchi. However, after tasting the finished dish, the director humorously commented that it tasted like egg fried rice.
