According to Good Data Corporation’s TV-OTT drama buzz survey for the third week of October, tvN’s “Jeongnyeon” topped the rankings for the second consecutive week, excelling in all buzz measurement categories, including Voice of Netizens (VON) and social media. Kim Tae-ri also ranked first in cast buzz.
With a weekly buzz score exceeding 30,000 points, “Jeongnyeon” is on track for the fourth highest buzz of 2024. The current top three dramas are “Lovely Runner”, “Queen of Tears”, and “Marry My Husband”.
SBS’s “The Judge from Hell” held second place, enjoying a four-week buzz increase thanks to its cast members, including Park Shin-hye. MBC’s “Doubt” took third, significantly boosting its buzz since its premiere, with Chae Won-bin leading in cast buzz.
ENA’s “Dear Hyeri” dropped to fourth but remains the second highest in ENA’s history, while Shin Hye-sun ranked third in cast buzz. JTBC’s “A Virtuous Business” and “Family by Choice” secured fifth and sixth places, respectively, with “A Virtuous Business” showing a 56.9% increase in buzz from the previous week.
This survey included TV dramas and OTT originals that aired or were set to release between October 14 and October 20, 2024, along with their cast members.
