The video uploaded on social media did not capture the actual expression of the fan’s intentions, but reports indicate that the notebook has been returned.

Nevertheless, the incident received negative responses from the fans and the press, leading to the so-called “Ji Chang-wook personality controversy.”

Hence. the agency Spring Company decided to address the situation.

On September 5th, they posted a really urgent and a little funny request via their official social media.

The agency shared the notice written on the form that is similar to an ordinary missing person flyer.

They politely apologize for the fact that they cannot find a fan with whom they exchanged a brief recognition, looking at the “outstretched hand” in the picture.

Via his official PR account, Ji Chang-wook Archive, it has disseminated the following message:

“We are inquiring the owner of the notebook that Ji Chang-Wook signed. If you are the person, or know of such a person, please leave a comment.”

Although the agency now knows who owns the notebook, they have stated:

“We haven’t forgotten the fan’s outstretched, bewildered hand and would like to apologize.”
