Disney+ released a new teaser for its upcoming original series Gangnam B-Side.
Gangnam B-Side is a crime K-drama that follows a top detective who, after being demoted, joins forces with a prosecutor and a mysterious broker to take down sinister forces operating in the shadows of Gangnam’s nightlife.
The teaser captures various characters pursuing club ace Kim Jae Hui (BIBI), who has disappeared, each with different motives.
Detective Kang Dong Woo (Jo Woo Jin), who had been demoted due to a certain incident but returns to Gangnam to solve the missing person case, says, “I can solve it for sure if I find Kim Jae Hee.”
Prosecutor Min Seo Jin (Ha Yoon Kyung), who takes on the case under the orders of the chief prosecutor, declares, “I’m a lunatic blinded by the greed for promotion.”
Yun Gil Ho (Ji Chang Wook), a mysterious broker linked to Jae Hee and now a prime suspect, draws attention as he states, “I’ll handle this myself,” and begins to take action in earnest.
In addition, the line, “They have to disappear. Both Jae Hee and what Jae Hee has,” adds to the mystery of what Jae Hui has.
Moreover, the scene where Kang Dong Woo appears to save Yun Gil Ho from a crisis catches attention, hinting at a unique relationship between the two that goes beyond that of a detective and a suspect.
