On the Nov 12th broadcast of SBS’s “Whenever Possible”, Yoo Jae-suk, Yoo Yeon-seok and Ji Chang-wook visit a musical performance hall. Yoo Yeon-seok and Ji Chang-wook, who have experience in musicals, share behind-the-scenes stories that capture viewers’ attention.
Ji Chang-wook admitted, “I made a lot of mistakes while performing in ‘Thrill Me’.” Yoo Yeon-seok said “When I was doing ‘Hedwig and the Angry Inch’, I really needed a prompter. I was so nervous on the first performance day, and Seung-woo called me, saying, ‘If you’re that nervous, write down a few keywords by the water purifier’“, sharing a relatable story of a musical veteran’s backstage nerves that resonated with everyone.
In addition, Ji Chang-wook raises curiosity by sharing stories from his college days performing at Daehak-ro. He said “I went to an academic high school and mostly studied, but somehow ended up in the theater and film department. I received academic warnings throughout my first year. After failing all but one class, I thought this couldn’t go on, so I took a leave of absence and started going to auditions“, reflecting on his challenging debut journey.
Meanwhile, Yoo Jae-suk expresses unique sentiments about Daehak-ro, drawing attention. He said “I recently watched Jin-joo’s performance ‘Maybe Happy Ending’ here. It was my first time visiting, and I really enjoyed it“, showcasing his loyal side, which earned admiration from Yoo Yeon-seok and Ji Chang-wook.
Anticipation is high for the upcoming broadcast of “Whenever Possible”, as viewers look forward to seeing what dramatic moments will emerge from the trio’s memory-filled time in Daehak-ro.
