On January 9, it was announced that Hwang Choi Han-cho, the CEO of NS ENM, is scheduled to attend Donald Trump’s inauguration, which will be held in Washington, D.C. on January 20 (local time).
The inauguration, attended by prominent Republican figures including members of the Trump family, requires invitations from the Inaugural Committee or key Republican officials. CEO Hwang was invited upon the recommendation of Kim Tae-yun, a Korean-American entrepreneur and head of TYK Group based in Silicon Valley.
During the visit, CEO Hwang also plans to meet with members of the Trump administration. This includes discussions with Robert F. Kennedy Jr., a candidate for the Department of Health and Human Services in Trump’s second term, and Scott Bessent, a candidate for the Secretary of the Treasury, to strengthen the agency’s network.
NS ENM is home to stars like Go Hyun-jung, Kim Kang-woo, Kim Ha-neul and Shin Hye-sun. Its subsidiary label Massive E&C manages the three-member girl group Ablume, which is set to make a comeback this summer. Ablume consists of Aran, Saena and Sio, former members of the group FIFTY FIFTY.
Ahead of their comeback, Ablume has been staying in the U.S. for an extended period, working on various content productions, including music videos and photoshoots.
An NS ENM representative stated, “We are deeply honored to be invited to President Trump’s inauguration. We will spare no effort in expanding our overseas entertainment business and fulfilling our private diplomacy role.”
