On the morning of May 9, OSEN exclusively confirmed that actors Jo Jung-suk and Jeon Mi-do will appear in episode 10 of tvN’s weekend drama “Resident Playbook”, scheduled to air on May 11. With the series finale approaching next week, their appearance is expected to mark a major highlight.
Previously, OSEN reported that “superstar PDs” Na Young-seok and Shin Won-ho would cameo in episodes 9 and 10. With Jo Jung-suk and Jeon Mi-do now joining them, anticipation is soaring higher than ever.

Jo and Jeon originally starred together in the “Hospital Playlist” series, which first aired in March 2020, followed by Season 2 in 2021. Jo played Lee Ik-jun, an assistant professor of general surgery, and Jeon portrayed Chae Song-hwa, an associate professor of neurosurgery. Their characters, who went from college sweethearts to a doctor couple, were immensely loved by fans.

Now, with the iconic “Ik-Song couple” Jo Jung-suk and Jeon Mi-do visiting Yulje Medical Center in “Resident Playbook”, viewers are eager to see what kind of relationship or story they will bring.

Meanwhile, “Resident Playbook”, planned for 12 episodes, has been achieving record-breaking ratings.
