Seoul, South Korea – May 29, 2024: The Walt Disney Company Korea has officially announced the forthcoming release of its original series “Polaris,” set to premiere on Disney+ in 2025.

This series has already garnered significant attention due to its exceptional cast and esteemed production team, making it one of the most eagerly awaited releases of the coming year.

“Polaris” is an intriguing narrative centered around spies who, after losing their identities, embark on a journey of self-discovery.

 Her character is a diplomat and the Ambassador to the United States, known for her incisive judgments and trusted reputation in the international community.

Moon Ju’s story takes a dramatic turn as she uncovers a political conspiracy entwining both North and South Korea, sparked by a high-profile assassination case.

Kang Dong-won, making a remarkable return to television dramas after two decades since his role in “Magic” (2004), will portray San Ho.

San Ho is depicted as a top-tier mercenary shrouded in mystery, with an enigmatic past and undisclosed nationality.

Beyond acting, Kang Dong-won will also step into the role of producer for “Polaris,” marking a significant expansion of his career in the entertainment industry.
