tvN’s Saturday-Sunday drama “Love Next Door” has only two episodes left before its conclusion.
The show has resonated with viewers by depicting everything from a light-hearted and thrilling youth romance to heartwarming and touching family stories, making the everyday lives of the residents of Hyereung-dong feel all the more special in their simplicity.
Most notably, viewers have laughed, cried and felt their hearts flutter while watching Choi Seung-hyo (played by Jung Hae-in) and Bae Seok-ryu (played by Jung So-min), who grew from friends into lovers. The deepening relationship between Jeong Mo-eum (played by Kim Ji-eun) and Kang Dan-ho (played by Yoon Ji-on), who comfort and support each other, has also moved viewers.
Jung Hae-in, Jung So-min and the rest of the cast expressed their affection for the show and their sadness about its conclusion.
Jung Hae-in shared, “As a viewer myself, I’ve been enjoying watching it, so I’m sad to see it end.” Jung So-min added, “It doesn’t feel real that filming is over, and I can’t believe the show is coming to an end. I think it’s because I’ve never truly let go of ‘Love Next Door’ in my heart.“
Kim Ji-eun commented, “Watching the show every week reminded me of the memories from filming, so it’s sad that only two episodes are left. I’ve grown so attached to it, and I’ll cherish these memories for a long time and occasionally reminisce about them.”
Yoon Ji-on expressed his feelings, “Every week, I couldn’t wait for the weekend to come so I could watch the show, but now, I wish this weekend wouldn’t come. Still, I feel a sense of warmth despite the sadness, and I’m thankful to all the viewers who loved ‘Love Next Door’.“
