“Nightmares began,” Kang Dong Won told host Yoo Jae Sook, adding, “Every day, I had a dream that I was being taken to be executed. I’d wake up crying, thinking what I should have done better when acting for the movie.”

The 42-year-old star also recalled experiencing heavy feelings as if he was “down the path of those emotions.”

Kang Dong Won shared his realizations and said that he should consider seeking “psychiatric counseling at that time” to help him deal with emotions that he had while doing the movie.

“Maundy Thursday” is more than just a psychological-romance film since the movie’s premise is all about depression and suicide.

Moreover, Kang Dong Won’s character is a convicted murderer waiting for his execution.
