As mentioned by an entertainment industry official, the actor “will be the main character in JTBC’s new Saturday-Sunday drama” and will be playing the character of lawyer Oh Soon Young.

In “The Art of Negotiation,” viewers will get to see the bromance between Soon Young and M&A expert and lawyer Yoon Joo No, played by Lee Je Hoon.

Expectations are also focused on the duo’s collaboration as they showcase their on-screen chemistry as partners at work.

Interestingly, “The Art of Negotiation” will be helmed by the renowned director Ahn Pan Seok, who is the genius behind “Something in the Rain,” “One Spring Night,” and the newly released K-drama “The Midnight Romance in Hagwon,” which stars Wi Ha Joon and Jung Ryeo Won.

The upcoming K-drama will mark Lee Je Hoon and Kim Dae Myung’s first work with director Ahn Pan Seok.

On the other hand, drama officials are yet to confirm the target release date of “The Art of Negotiation,” but the business thriller series is expected to air via JTBC.

Kim Dae Myung Stars in Back to Back K-drama This 2024

While viewers are looking forward to seeing Kim Dae Myung reunite with 99ers Jung Kyung Ho, Jeon Mi Do, Yoo Yeon Seok, and Jo Jung Suk in “Hospital Playlist” season 3, the 43-year-old actor will be starring in the webtoon-based K-drama “Light Shop.”

Joining the star-studded cast, he will be working alongside Ju Ji Hoon, Park Bo Young, Kim Seol Hyun, Uhm Tae Goo, Lee Jung Eun, and Bae Sung Woo.

Based on Kang Full’s hit webtoon, “Light Shop” is a “flat psychological mystery” series that showcases similarities to the hit K-drama “Moving.”

Penned by Kang Full, “Light Shop” will be directed by Kim Hee Won, who also starred in Disney+’s “Moving.”

As mentioned, since it has the same format as “Moving,” it will depict a series of stories involving the living and the dead as their worlds intersect through a mysterious light shop.

The upcoming K-drama will also feature suspicious figures that have connections to the light shop.
