Kim Min Ju to be Seo Kang Joon’s classmate in Undercover High School

Former IZ*ONE member Kim Min Ju is confirmed to join the new MBC K-drama starring Seo Kang Joon and Jin Ki Joo.

On November 13, Kim Min Ju’s agency Management SOOP confirmed that the idol actress will star in the upcoming K-drama Undercover High School

Undercover High School will reveal the journey of Jung Hae Sung who hid his identity as a National Intelligence Service agent and goes undercover as a high school student to locate the whereabouts of  Emperor Gojong’s missing gold bullion. 

The upcoming K-drama will be the collaboration work of director Choi Jung In (Knight Flower and On the Verge of Insanity) and writer Im Young Bin (Bad Prosecutor and Sketch). 

Aside from Seo Kang Joon and Jin Ki Joo, Kim Shin Rok and Yoon Ga Yi will also join the cast. 

Kim Min Ju will portray the role of Lee Ye Na in the series. She is the only daughter of the chairman of the school and the student council president. She is known for always doing well in different competitions, school activities, and popularity polls but she still struggles to get the recognition from her own mother. 

Undercover High School will air in 2025 with 12 episodes in the Friday and Saturday K-drama timeslot of MBC. 

This is the first confirmed K-drama project of Kim Min Ju for 2025. She also received the offer to lead the new romance K-drama Shining with Chae Jong Hyeop just yesterday. 

Kim Min Ju is known for being part of the K-dramas Connection, The Forbidden Marriage, Tempted, and more.

Aside from being active in her acting career, Kim Min Ju is also set to have her first solo fan meeting on November 22.
