Actress Kim Nam Joo has recently drawn attention for signing a rare lifetime contract with her agency but without the typical signing bonus that usually comes with such agreements.
Nam Joo debuted in 1994 as an SBS talent after winning Miss Korea Gyeonggi in 1992 and starting out as a supporting model.
Since then, she went on to become a leading name in the South Korean entertainment industry, acting in hit dramas like My Secret Terrius and Wonderful World.
On a recent episode of SBS’s “My Little Old Boy,” Nam Joo’s husband, actor Kim Seung Woo, divulged some details regarding her new contract.
Seung-woo runs an agency with actors Ye Ji Won, Lee Tae Ran, Ko Soo Hee, and his wife Kim Nam Joo under its wing.
While answering about the contract amount, he humorously replied, saying, “What is a contract fee? Is there such a thing?” He proudly stated that Nam Joo’s contract was “forever,” thus expressing the nature of their union.
