On October 14th, a video titled “A soju party where hardships burst out like a fountain” was uploaded to the YouTube channel “Zzanbro”. The video featured actors Kim So-yeon, Kim Sung-ryung, and Yeon Woo-jin from the JTBC drama “A Virtuous Business,” as they opened up about various aspects of their lives and careers.
During the conversation, host Shin Dong-yeop posed an intriguing question to Kim So-yeon, saying, “Since you’re both actors, are you always sympathetic towards each other when it comes to kiss scenes?”
He was particularly curious about the reactions of Lee Sang-woo, Kim So-yeon’s husband, to such scenes.
In response, Kim So-yeon candidly revealed, “After we got married, my husband had a kiss scene first. I was jealous. In the scene, his gaze was so warm, so I told him, ‘I’m jealous.’ I thought I was in the wrong, but then there were so many intense kiss scenes in ‘Penthouse.’ My husband then said, ‘Now I understand how you felt.’”
The actress went on to explain how they’ve developed a system to handle these potentially awkward situations.
“We agreed to tell each other in advance if there’s such a scene,” she said, adding, “We go in and out of the room, saying things like, ‘Go into the room now,’ or ‘You can come out now’ when there’s such a scene.”
