In a recent episode uploaded to the YouTube channel “A-Class Jang Young-ran” titled “Alone with Kim Young-chul: What Did Jang Young-ran Want Most from the Cheongdam Gucci House?”, Jang visited Kim’s home in the upscale Cheongdam-dong neighborhood for a casual tour.

While exploring his closet, Jang asked which piece of clothing he treasured most. Kim showcased a luxury jacket worth 4.3 million KRW. Jang remarked that it would look good on a woman and tried it on, prompting Kim to comment that the logo on the chest might be too trendy. Then came the moment that stunned viewers: Kim suddenly reached out to touch the logo on Jang’s chest.

Startled, Jang immediately responded, “Oppa, what are you doing? Where are you touching?” and covered the area with her hands. She added, “My husband’s watching — how would you feel if I touched you like that?” The staff behind the camera burst into awkward laughter.
Kim, clearly flustered, tried to explain himself: “I just wanted to see if the logo could be removed. But wow… your reaction is too much.” Jang quickly countered, “It’s not too much.”

In a panic, Kim turned toward the camera and apologized: “I’m sorry, Mr. Han-chang [Jang’s husband]. I was too comfortable… I didn’t realize. What was I thinking? Maybe I was possessed for a moment.”
After the video went live, fans flooded the comments with mixed reactions:
- “Even if you’re close, he should be more careful since they’re different genders.”
- “Saying she was being ‘too much’ was uncalled for.”
- “They laughed it off because they’re close, but that touch was way too natural. I was shocked.”
While the tone of the video remained lighthearted, viewers clearly felt the moment crossed a line, with many urging celebrities to respect personal boundaries — even among longtime friends.
