In the interview with “The Star,” Lee Joon-gi smiled while discussing his photoshoot experience in Bali, saying, “It was such a healing time for me.” He then expressed his gratitude for being able to enjoy the sunset with local fans until the last day of shooting and appreciating Bali’s scenic landscape.
“I was especially impressed that I could experience unique natural scenery, especially at the Tegalalang Rice Terrace, which is not easily seen elsewhere,” he shared.
Regarding his current working schedules, Lee Joon-gi stated, “I’m still meeting fans across Asia. I am still reviewing and deciding my next project, getting mentally and physically prepared for it.”
As November arrives, he is thoroughly experiencing late autumn. His recommended way to fully enjoy the season is “outdoor running.” He believes there’s nothing better than running while feeling the autumn breeze and enjoying the seasonal landscape. He candidly shared that he enjoys walking and running for at least two hours daily. With a smile, he added, “I want to savor the loneliness of autumn.”
When asked where he thinks he stands if his acting career were measured on a scale of 100%, he responded, “I think I’m around 50 percent through.” He explained that while he was an actor who brilliantly and beautifully connected with the public, he now wants to think more broadly and enter the audience’s heart to empathize together. “I want to continue to cultivate and improve my inner self and stay alert as an actor as I move forward with my life,” he added.
