Lee Min-ho guested on tvN’s entertainment program “You Quiz on the Block” broadcast on the evening of December 25th.
That day, Lee Min-ho shared, “I played a chaebol in ‘Boys Over Flowers”, but I was actually suffering financial difficulties at that time”.
He continued, “The situation was so bad that my family members had to scatter and live apart from each other. Mom had to be the head of the family and I often thought about the burdens she carried at that time. Seeing the small and lonely back of Mom looking at numerous bills really broke my heart”, adding “I was still so young back then, but I really wanted to share the burden with her. That’s why I wanted to quickly get a job”.
The actor confessed, “After playing various roles for three years, I met ‘Boys Over Flower’. I acted to earn my living”, adding “After filming several advertisements, I gave Mom about 1 million won and she loved it so much. Mom is all I have. She’s always there by my side. She respects me and loves me unconditionally. Whenever I seemed to get off track, I looked back and she was always there. She’s most important in my life and the person I love the most”, expressing his extraordinary love for his Mom.
