During the episode, Lee Min-jung’s eyes welled up as she read a piece written by one of the village’s student grandmothers. She comforted her, saying, “It must be painful not being able to have normal conversations, and seeing someone in pain must hurt your heart too.”

Another student grandmother teared up, sharing her longing for her husband as the first anniversary of his passing approached. Boom also shared a poignant story, saying, “My father passed away in an accident. My wife asked what I’d say if I could meet him. I’d tell him I miss him. I just wish I could see him one more time,” evoking sympathy from those around him.
