Actresses Lee Min-jung and Kim Ji-seok have been cast to play the roles of a married couple in the highly anticipated new drama titled “Yes, Let’s Divorce” (tentative title).
“Yes, Let’s Divorce” is a story about a couple, who run a wedding dress shop, documenting their real-life experience of divorce after years of exhausting married life.
In “Yes, Let’s Divorce,” Lee Min-jung plays Baek Mi-young, a woman who, after losing her parents in an accident, throws herself into work and co-founds the wedding company “G&White” with her husband, Ji Won-ho. After 7 years of marriage and numerous challenges, Mi-young decides to divorce him.
“Yes, Let’s Divorce” marks Lee Min-jung’s return to the small screen after 5 years since her last drama, “Once Again”, sparking more interest. Lee Min-jung, who has built a strong acting reputation with standout roles in dramas such as “Fate and Fury”, “Come Back Mister”, and “A Cunning Single Lady”, is drawing attention to how she will transform for this new role.
Kim Ji-seok plays Ji Won-ho, Mi-young’s husband, and co-CEO and designer at “G&White”. He falls in love with Mi-young at first sight after she triggers his protective instincts at his first job. After 6 months of dating, he proposes to her. They marry and live a happy life without major crises, but when they reach their fourth year of marriage, an incident causes a severe rift between the couple.
Kim Ji-seok, who added depth to various roles in dramas like “New Recruit Season 2”, “Kiss Sixth Sense”, “Monthly Magazine Home”, and “When the Camellia Blooms”, is now taking on the character of Ji Won-ho, and fans are eagerly awaiting how he will bring new depth to his role.
