Lee Min Ki, Han Ji Hyun’s “Face Me” Drops Stills From Script Reading

KBS has unveiled stills from the script reading session of its upcoming medical thriller Face Me.

Face Me follows a cold-hearted plastic surgeon and a passionate detective, working together to uncover the truth behind a case of a crime victim’s reconstructive plastic surgery.

The drama boasts a star-studded cast, including Lee Min KiHan Ji HyunLee Yi Kyung, and Jeon Bae Soo.

The script reading session was attended by director Jo Rok Hwan, writer Hwang Ye Jin, and the leading actors Lee Min Ki, Han Ji Hyun, Lee Yi Kyung, Jeon Bae Soo, Ha Young, Lee Seung Woo, Yoon Jung Il, Yang So Min, Lee Jae Eun, and Choi Jung Woon. 

Lee Min Ki (CrashBehind Your TouchMy Liberation Notes) transforms into the top plastic surgeon Cha Jung Woo. The actor shared, “Face Me is a drama centered around solving cases through reconstructive plastic surgery for crime victims.” 

Han Ji Hyun (The Penthouse: War in LifeCheer UpNo Gain, No Love) plays the role of Detective Lee Min Hyeong of the violent crimes unit. She is a character with a fiery personality, known for her unstoppable persistence to catch criminals. The actress described Lee Min Hyeong as “a person with a mysterious past.”

Lee Yi Kyung (Marry My HusbandDescendants of the Sun) plays plastic surgeon Han Woo Jin. In the drama, Han Woo Jin has been friends with Cha Jung Woo since their high school days 

Jeon Bae Soo (Queen of TearsDear HyerDaily Dose of SunshineExtraordinary Attorney WooMr. QueenThe King: Eternal MonarchLawless LawyerStrangerThe K2) portrays Kim Seok Hoon, the director of KSH Plastic Surgery, a famous clinic in Gangnam.

Additionally, supporting actors Ha Young (as Yoon Hye Jin), Lee Seung Woo (as Seo Kang Ho), Yoon Jeong Il (as Lee Jin Seok), Yang So Min (as Yoon Seo Hee), Lee Jae Eun (as Shin Jung Sook), and Choi Jung Woon (as Nam Hyo Joo) promise to keep viewers immersed with their fine performances.

After the session, Lee Min Ki shared, “From the moment I first came across the project, I kept reading the script over and over to deeply understand the character and immerse myself in the role. I’m already looking forward to seeing how Cha Jung Woo will turn out, as he’s different from any character I’ve played before.”

Han Ji Hyun also commented, “I’m really nervous but also incredibly excited to work with such amazing people. Since it’s my first time playing this kind of role, I feel thrilled and think I’ll be able to act with even more interest.”
