Singer Tyla hyped up Lisa and did a quick catch-up sesh backstage following the Korean star’s solo performance at the 2024 VMAs.
After BLACKPINK Lisa’s successful solo performance at the 2024 VMAs, South African singer-songwriter Tyla was spotted waiting for the idol backstage while yelling the K-idol’s name.
Despite the overwhelming cheers and delight, Lisa quickly saw the 02-liner singer and with so much happiness, she initiated a hug and even greeted her, saying, “Hi, cutie!”

The “Water” hitmaker and “Rockstar” singer shared unchanging closeness even after their initial interaction earlier this year.

In March, the two stars sparked collaboration speculation after Tyla shared a clip of Lisa vibing with her recently-finished album.
The BLACKPINK member officially had her first listen, and the African singer raised anticipation as she wrote in the caption, “Definitely a LISA X TYLA collab down the line.”
It was confirmed that Reuters had been in talks with LLOUD and Lisa for a prospective new song by the two hitmakers!
