Love Next Door Episode 11 Recap

Love Next Door Episode 11 Review

Episode 11 of Love Next Door begins with a nostalgic flashback of Seok-ryu and Mo-eun’s class making cakes. Eager to share their creations with Seung-hyo, the girls are taken aback when a group of high school girls also line up with the same idea. Mo-eun teases Seok-ryu about Seung-hyo’s growing popularity, much to Seok-ryu’s annoyance. Later, Seung-hyo asks Seok-ryu if any cake is left after noticing her walking away with it, but she denies it. Flashbacks reveal how Seung-hyo’s academic success was largely due to Seok-ryu’s support after he left swimming.

In the present, a day after Seok-ryu’s emotional breakdown, Seung-hyo joins her family for breakfast, feeling a pang of loneliness seeing their close bond. Later, Seok-ryu asks him for help translating a French cookbook. As she records him, she dozes off, waking up to find him sleeping beside her. She reaches out to touch his face, but he wakes up and awkwardly leaves, bumping into Mo-eun at the door. Mo-eun, flustered, quickly buys him an ice pack before rushing off when Dan-ho approaches.

They eventually clear the air, each apologizing for their previous awkward kiss.

Seung-hyo’s excitement over a family dinner is quickly crushed when he learns that his mother, Hye-suk, is leaving the country again, and his parents are getting divorced.
