‘Love Next Door’ Recap Episode 10: Jung So Min’s Character Isn’t Dying

Episode 10 continues the last scene from the previous episode. Jung Hae In discovers the news about Jung So Min’s health and shares it with their families. She insists she’s fine. When she received the first stomach cancer diagnosis, Jung Hae In was in the United States and ghosted Jung So Min when he saw her with her ex-boyfriend. The past guilt remains with him today.

The second couple, Kim Ji Eun and Yoon Ji On, share a special moment when Yoon Ji On opens up about his late wife’s fatal accident and his daughter being the sole survivor. Kim Ji Eun becomes emotional and comforts him with a kiss. She quickly becomes embarrassed and does a comedic headbutt to conceal her true feelings.

Jung Hae In and Jung So Min run into each other on his way home and get into an argument about the past. When she walks away, he speaks to her ex-boyfriend about her past depression and feels guilty about ignoring her when she first battled her illness. Jung So Min goes on a solo trip to the beach to relax and mediate.

Her family panics for a short time in her absence. When Jung Hae In finds her at the beach, he encourages her to be open about her emotions, and they reminisce about a childhood memory where she ran away.

Her test results come back negative, and we learned it was only inflammation that upset her stomach. Everyone is relieved. However, Jung So Min’s father sees his wife with a vice minister and misunderstands their relationship. He believes the rumors and promptly asks his wife for a divorce.
