[marriage & in-laws] I JUST GOT BACK FROM A TRIP AND I FEEL LIKE I WANT A DIVORCE

We’ve been married for five years and have one child.
We recently went on a 4-night, 5-day family trip to Jeju Island.
My husband always tends to pack way too much, and if I try to help him, he insists on packing himself.
I packed our child’s clothes, but my husband kept adding more: 5 sets of thermal underwear, 8 sets of casual clothes, 2 pairs of sneakers, 2 types of hats, and 2 jackets.
For himself, he packed: 2 thick knits, 4 long-sleeve shirts, 4 short-sleeve shirts, 2 pairs of jeans, 2 pairs of shorts, 2 sets of pajamas, and 1 jacket.
I only packed 3 dresses and 1 jacket.
The problem is that throughout the entire trip, he ended up wearing the same outfit from start to finish, leaving all the other clothes untouched.
Since I’m always the one who does the unpacking, the laundry pile was massive. When I asked if we really needed to wash the unworn clothes, he insisted that everything must be washed.
While I was handling the delicate knits carefully to avoid stretching them, he just went off to relax. Unpacking and taking care of our child was entirely my responsibility.
We landed at 9 a.m., and because he had to leave for work at 10 p.m., he claimed unpacking was my responsibility. On days he’s not working, he says, “Well, I drove, so you should do it.”
I had to run four loads of laundry, and since the clothes were all so bulky, I struggled moving them from the back balcony to the front. That’s when I hit a breaking point and decided to write this post.
Both of us love traveling, but every trip ends up like this. We even have three oversized drying racks at home because of it.
Laundry alone takes me half a day, and it’s not just the clothes , my husband packs random, unnecessary things too, and it’s always my job to put them back in their place.
Since this happens every trip, I’m starting to wonder if he’s doing it on purpose.
Last time, during a 2-night, 3-day trip, he packed 11 outfits. He expected me to wash them all then too, so I did.
Why pack so much when he doesn’t even wear most of it? It’s seriously frustrating.
Do other husbands do this too?.. Ha..

It’s even funnier that you out up with that for 5 yearsㅋㅋㅋ What are we supposed to do?

I’m more shocked that there are people willing to wash your unworn laundry for you

I find it more fascinating that you were treated like that for 5 years and still decided to go on vacation with him

He’s testing his control by seeing if you’ll do everything he demands, and you’re doing it all.

Isn’t it kind of funny to complain while still doing exactly what he asked, washing all the unworn clothes and neatly delivering them with every drying rack in action?
