[marriage & in-laws] MY FRIEND CUT ME OFF AFTER I WORE ALL-BLACK TO HER WEDDING

15 Best Korean Glass Skin Products

It was a summer wedding, and it was my first time attending a wedding at 24 years old. I looked up wedding attire online and saw that I should avoid pastel tones, white, ivory, and overly revealing clothes…ㅜㅡ

I wore an outfit exactly like the one in the photo below, but all I heard was, “What’s with the all-black? Are you going to a funeral? Are you the groom? It’s so dull.” I ended up hearing nothing but comments about my outfit, and now I feel a bit down.

Is it really that bad to wear all black to a wedding? I’d appreciate some advice so I can keep it in mind for the next wedding I attend…

Vote up – Avoid colors brighter than the bride’s…

Vote down – All black is a bit much…

Huh? Isn’t this the safest choice though?ㅋㅋㅋㅋ no but OP’s style was probably so good that she stood out even wearing all-blackㅋㅋ

Who wears this kind of outfit to a funeral?ㅋㅋㅋㅋ

(Commenter is a man) It doesn’t matter. As long as it’s not an all-white, princess-style dress that outshines the bride, it’s fine.

It’s just because it’s summer. If you go in winter, half the people will be dressed in black. What’s the big deal?

It shouldn’t matter~
