Fans can’t seem to hold their horses in anticipation for TWICE’s comeback album, STRATEGY.
The girl group has released a teaser trailer for the project’s title single, featuring rapper Megan Thee Stallion, to the relief of confused fans following a delay in the project’s concept photos. Lasting just 16 seconds, the video provides a brief glimpse of the “Hiss” star mischievously holding a bedazzled megaphone, decked out in full glam and a white baby tee.
While Megan utters no words in the teaser, the lyrics letter included in the album’s box set reveals her verse, straight from the horse’s mouth: “Talk with my body, that’s my strategy/ Other girls tryin’, but I’m really hard to beat/ He’ll be mine off my strategy, my strategy, strategy.”
“Strategy” is TWICE and Megan’s second collab to date. The two previously joined hands on Megan’s viral remix of “Mamushi,” where the group subbed in for Japanese artist Yuki Chiba, who featured on the original version. The girl group also designed a limited edition release of the rapper’s Megan: Act II deluxe album, which included features from BTS’ RM, Flo Milli, and Spiritbox.
TWICE’s 14th mini-album tracklist includes six songs: “Strategy (ft. Megan Thee Stallion),” “Kiss My Troubles Away,” “Like It Like It,” “Sweetest Obsession,” “Keeper,” “Magical,” and “Strategy (TWICE ver.).”
The “Strategy” music video is slated to debut on Friday, December 6.
